How to Use the Hanging Car Diffuser with a Bamboo Cap

Step 1: Prepare the Bottle (Remove the Stopper)

This is the first and most crucial step to prepare the fragrance for use.

1. First, unscrew the wooden (bamboo) cap on top of the bottle.
2. After removing the cap, carefully take out the clear plastic stopper you will see sealing the bottle's opening. This stopper is the protective seal that prevents leakage and evaporation until you are ready to use the product.
3. Once the plastic stopper is removed, screw the wooden cap back onto the bottle tightly. Make sure the cap is fully seated and not loose.

Step 2: Activate the Scent

This step is necessary to initiate the fragrance release.

• After ensuring the cap is tightly closed, carefully turn the bottle upside down and hold it for only 1–2 seconds.
• This action allows the perfume essence inside to contact and be absorbed by the wooden cap. You will see the inside of the wooden cap becoming slightly wet. The fragrance will diffuse into the environment from this saturated wooden surface.
• CAUTION: Avoid holding the bottle upside down for too long or shaking it excessively. This can cause the liquid to over-saturate the wood and leak. A 1–2 second contact is sufficient.

Step 3: Hang and Adjust in the Car

Use the string provided with the product to hang the air freshener, usually on the rearview mirror.

• Adjust the height of the air freshener using the adjusting bead or knot on the string.
• IMPORTANT SAFETY WARNING: Ensure the air freshener does not obstruct your view while driving. Also, make sure it is at a height where it will not hit the windshield and cause noise during sudden braking or turns. It is generally recommended to hang it short and steady.

Usage Tips and Maintenance

• To Refresh the Scent: When you feel the scent in your car is diminishing, you can flip the bottle upside down again for 1–2 seconds to re-saturate the wooden cap and revitalize the fragrance. You can do this weekly or as needed.
• Beware of Leaks: Fragrance essences can be oil-based and may damage your car's plastic or leather surfaces (such as the dashboard). Therefore, always ensure the cap is closed tightly, and immediately wipe up any spilled liquid in case of a leak.
• Hot Weather: In hot weather and in cars left in the sun, evaporation will be faster, meaning the fragrance may be consumed more quickly.
