How to Use a Deodorant and Perfume Set: The Two-Step Guide for Perfect Harmony

Step 1: Protection and Base – DEODORANT

This is the first and most crucial step for hygiene and odor control.

What is its purpose? The primary goal of deodorant is not to smell good like perfume, but to control perspiration and inhibit the bacteria in the armpit that cause body odor.

• When? Right after a shower, on skin that is clean and completely dry.
• Where? This is very important: Deodorant is ONLY applied to the armpits. It should not be applied or sprayed anywhere else on the body.
• How to Apply?If it’s a spray: Shake the can well, then spray onto your armpit from about 15 cm (6 inches) away for 1-2 seconds.If it’s a roll-on: Apply a thin layer to the armpit area.Be sure to wait a few seconds for it to dry completely before getting dressed.

By completing this step, you ensure protection against body odor while creating an odor-neutral or complementary base for your perfume.

Step 2: Signature and Longevity – PERFUME

This is the aesthetic part of your scent—your signature, which is noticed by others and provides a lasting impression.

What is its purpose? The function of perfume is to leave an impression with its beautiful scent and ensure that the fragrance lasts throughout the day. It has no function in preventing perspiration.

• When? After the deodorant has dried, just before getting dressed.
• Where? Perfume is sprayed onto pulse points, which are spots where body heat helps to diffuse the scent. It should never be sprayed in the armpit area.Ideal Areas: Neck, inner wrists, behind the ears, inner elbows, and the center of the chest.
• How to Apply?Hold the bottle approximately 15-20 cm (6-8 inches) away from your skin.A single spritz on the 2-3 pulse points you've chosen is usually sufficient.Never rub or press your wrists together after spraying. This breaks down the fragrance structure. Allow it to air-dry naturally.
